Popular Display Cabinets For Collectibles
There aren’t many affordable options when it comes to glass display cabinets, suitable for showcasing collectibles and special goods. The main reason why the market is so small is it’s usually a requirement to have glass encasing to ensure dust and debris doesn’t touch the things you are displaying.
However there does seem to be some very popular standard issue cabinets readily available to most people. Whether it be housing vinyl, scale diecast, plastic models these are pretty good options.

Ikea Detolf
http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/10011055
The big majority of collectors find the look and price of the Ikea Detolf cabinets the most attractive. Features full glass sides, four levels and an optional internal light. It’s attractive and works well when stood next to others but is very heavy (45kg) and I find the vertical metal rods detract a little from the seamless qualities I would look for in a display. Available in 3 finishes.
Ikea Biby

The Biby is similar to the Detolf but has an exoskeletal frame in comparison. Has largely enclosed glass windows with lower exposed areas as shown in the photos. Looks nice but is impacted by personal choice, room surroundings and what you are displaying. Available in 3 finishes.
Absoe Shop Fittings, Stackable Glass Cubes

These are commonly found in shops with a variety of uses. As you might expect, they aren’t typically consumer options however if you have the money they could be right for you. If you can track down alternatives you might find different looks and prices. It’s a big market and it’s difficult to find the best but they’re out there, this is just one higher end option.
